Part 10: The breastplate of righteousness

Is your relationship with God constant? Or are you one day feeling close to Him and the next feeling unworthy of Him? If so, you're under attack!

An up and down relationship with God is a sign of an attack on the confidence of your heart in your relationship with God. This is the devil's attack but he wouldn't be getting through to you if you had on your breastplate of righteousness!

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness.

Ephesians 6:14 - KJV

God has a breastplate for you that is part of His full armour. It is called the breastplate of righteousness. It will protect your heart's confidence to have a daily and ongoing relationship with God. The breastplate of righteousness surrounds your heart. In this way it safeguards your spiritual life. It keeps the vibrancy of your heart's connection with God. It does this by shielding your heart from the devil's accusations.
