Jesus is the Word of God! (John 1:14) In receiving Jesus you are receiving the Word of God. In receiving the Word of God - Jesus - you are born again! Do you want to be born again? Then receive Jesus. Invite Him into your life! (See the prayer in the next part of this class.) The moment you are born again your eyes will be opened to see the things of the kingdom of God! I can illustrate for you what this will be like with a story taken from the days of the prophet Elisha.

The Bible relates the account of Elisha's servant whose physical eyes were "opened" - were empowered - to see the things of the kingdom of God. You will find it in the Book of Second Kings.

When the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, 'Alas, my master! What shall we do?' So he answered, 'Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.' And Elisha prayed, and said, 'Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.' And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around about Elisha.

2 Kings 6:15-17 - KJV

Do you see what happened there? Elisha prayed and immediately his servant was able to see what Elisha already saw. He saw Heaven's own horses and chariots gathered all around for their protection and deliverance!

Once you have been born again you too will start to see the activity of the kingdom of Heaven. The activity you "see" may not be physically visible to the eyes but it will be perceived by you in a very real way. The kingdom of God has a presence in the earth that can be perceived by His children!
